It was in this race, Keisuke surpassed Takumi. First, this race had an up hill and down hill component. Takumi doesn't really race up hill, so Keisuke is already more versatile. Second, with respect to their opponents, Takumi Struggled with God hand and couldn't adapt. It was only after God hand threw up was Takumi able to win. Third, Keisuke adapted much quicker and whilst using most of the techniques he learned over the other races, he was able to come back and utilize every part of his FD, much like how Ryosuke uses all parts of his FC. Also, in Stage 5, all of Keisuke's races were easy. He put in all the hard work and put himself in another level. Takumi struggled much more. Keisuke is a legend for that.

It's surprising initial D favors rwd platforms only to show the awd subaru nearing the end as a superior car. On initial d fashion, the subaru would lose due to the understeer wearing out the front tires. The ae86 already beat the formidle awd gtr and evo, both cars that most would say are better machines. The only place the subaru has is foreshadowing takumi's future of rally career, which i assume he used a subaru.

So 1st of all ,Takumi may just not be right in the head ,2 his massive balls keeps the car center of gravity in check at all times,3 is an anime where rules can be slightly bend, i know seems far fetch how they strech law of physics in some races and get away with it 4 if yall like intial D highly recommend MG Ghost :D

When Takumi first realizes it better racing with a newer car instead of an older car, and cars arent all the same as he once believed.

Only someone as devious as Bunta would traumatise his son with a new car only to make them best friends the following week 😂

I prefer FC in Wangan Midnight, they still retain the pop up headlight but they put another headlights on the bumper. If I ever bought an SW20 MR2, I will definitely imitate it.
